2024 Perpetual Awards: Highlighting Outstanding Dedication and Leadership

Each year, Badminton Victoria recognises individuals who show excellence, growth, and sportsmanship through the Perpetual Trophy Awards. Nominated by the Badminton Victoria Performance Committee, these awards highlight outstanding dedication and leadership across the junior, senior, and Para categories.

Player Sportlight: Lucas Khor

Lucas Khor is one of Victoria’s rising junior players; quiet, focused, and known for putting in the work. At the 2025 Ballarat AIA Junior Circuit 5, he made it to the semi-finals in the U15 Boys Singles and finished runner-up in the U15 Boys Doubles at the State Titles. It's clear he’s building something solid, one match at a time.

The 92nd Annual General Meeting of Badminton Victoria

The 92nd Annual General Meeting of Badminton Victoria was successfully held on Sunday, 18 May, at the Champion Room in MSAC, with over 50 attendees joining both in person and online. The AGM covered key highlights including a presentation of the Annual Report and Audited Annual Financial Statement, voting on life membership nominations and board positions, a lively Q&A session with major sponsors, and the presentation of the 2024 Perpetual Awards.

The Victorian Graded Series Kicks Off with Bigger Prizes

The ShadowPlay by Peppers Victoria Graded 1 is set to launch at Kilsyth Badminton with exciting updates. To claim the prize money, winners must open a Beyond Bank Community Reward Account (CRA) and select Badminton Victoria as the community organisation.
