BV is currently developing the Strategic Plan for 2026-28, and we want to make sure it reflects what matters to our community. Over the next few weeks, clubs/associations and partners will receive survey link from BV. The survey will be open until Sunday, 31 August 2025. We strongly encourage each club/association to submit at least one response that reflects the group’s shared priorities.

Player's Sportlight: Nathaniel Tseng

Nathaniel’s passion for badminton began at the age of eight, during a casual outing with his family. Drawn to the sport’s speed and intensity, he quickly took up the game with the support of his parents and began his journey as a junior player. He has achieved strong results in both singles and doubles, such as winning the 2025 AIA Junior Circuit 4 U13 Boys' Singles, U13 Mixed Double and the 2025 ACT Junior Open U13 Boys' Doubles titles.

Welcoming Our New President and Board Members

Following the 92nd Annual General Meeting, Badminton Victoria is pleased to officially welcome Joseph Yeung as our new President, along with several newly appointed Board members. As part of this year’s AGM, we welcome Dr Simon Lynch as a newly elected member of the Board. We also congratulate Naramsihan Ravi and Pierce Lucas on their reappointment. They will continue to serve alongside Jackie Cheuk and Cynthia Tam, who remain on the Board.

2025 Australian National Para Badminton Championships Result

Badminton Victoria proudly congratulates all athletes who represented the state at the 2025 Australian National Para Badminton Championships, held from 30 May to 1 June at Altona Badminton Stadium in Melbourne. This year, Victoria was represented by two teams: Victoria Demons and Victoria Rebels. The championships brought together para athletes from across the country in a spirited and high-level competition.

Player Sportlight: Lucas Khor

Lucas Khor is one of Victoria’s rising junior players; quiet, focused, and known for putting in the work. At the 2025 Ballarat AIA Junior Circuit 5, he made it to the semi-finals in the U15 Boys Singles and finished runner-up in the U15 Boys Doubles at the State Titles. It's clear he’s building something solid, one match at a time.
