Badminton Victoria is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our para badminton athletes at the 2026 Australian National Para Badminton Championships, held from 29–30 May at the Altona Badminton Centre in Altona North, Victoria. The annual national event brought together para badminton players from across Australia to compete at the highest level of domestic competition.

Representing Victoria, two teams took to the court throughout the championship weekend — Vic Blue and Vic Orange. After two days of determined performances, teamwork, and resilience, Vic Blue emerged as the tournament champions, delivering a fantastic result for Victoria.

Badminton Victoria would like to thank all players who represented the state and gave their all throughout the tournament. Your dedication, perseverance, and passion for the sport continue to inspire the badminton community.

A special thank you also goes to our coaching team, Abbie Rothery and Naman Bhardwaj, whose guidance and support played an important role throughout the championship campaign. As the Senior State Para Head Coach & Abilities Coordinator, Abbie continues to make a significant contribution to the growth and development of para badminton across the state. Together with Naman, their commitment to supporting our athletes both on and off the court was invaluable throughout the event.
