Badminton Victoria is calling for applications for one vacant Board Director position

Badminton Victoria is particularly seeking applications from individuals with skills and experience in commercial strategy, digital strategy in marketing and branding, and experience in helping to identify and attract funding and resources. Experience in governance within sports and community sports will also be viewed favourably.

Badminton Victoria is committed to having a diverse representation of individuals on the Board. As per Clause 15(b) of the Badminton Victoria Constitution – to promote gender diversity, the Board shall at all times comprise of no more than 60% of one gender. To adhere to this clause, this vacancy is open to applicants who identify as female or non binary.

Directors will be required to attend Board meetings, held every two months, attend Board sub-committee meetings as required, and review information between meetings for urgent matters. Meetings are primarily held in person at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, though online meetings can be accommodated where necessary.
