Badminton Victoria is seeking applications for one (1) appointed Board Director position, to serve a two-year term.

Badminton Victoria is particularly seeking applications from individuals with skills and experience in commercial strategy, digital strategy in marketing and branding and experience in helping to identify and attract funding and resources. Experience in governance within sports and community sports will also be viewed favourably.

Badminton Victoria is committed to building a diverse and representative Board. In line with Clause 15(b) of our Constitution, which promotes gender diversity, no more than 60% of the Board may identify as the same gender. To support this goal, this vacancy is open to applicants who identify as female or non-binary.

Directors will be required to attend Board meetings, held every two months, attend Board sub-committee meetings as required and review information between meetings for urgent matters. Meetings are primarily held in person at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, online meetings can be accommodated where necessary.
