We express our deepest sympathy for the loss of Badminton Victoria Life Member, John Trevor Watson Little, otherwise known affectionately as "Jack" in the badminton community.
Jack has been a Badminton Victoria Life Member since 1967. He served as President from 1969 to 1977 as well as President of Badminton Australia in 1972. He was also a recipient of a Badminton Victoria Distinguished Service Award in 1982.
In the 1950s, Jack had the honour of providing a guided tour for Queen Elizabeth of our Victorian Badminton Hall that used to be situated in Albert Park.
About Jack, Badminton Victoria Life Member, Val Nesbitt said. "I remember when I received a medal from Jack at a BV AGM. Being so tall, I had to bend down, so he could pin the medal on my lapel. Big laughs all round - A really nice man."
Our condolences go out to his surviving family and friends.
