Imagine yourself at the Olympic Games. Imagine travelling across the state, country and globe to see the finest badminton players compete, from the best seat in the house. There is a world of amazing opportunities available to line judges, and it’s easy and free to start your journey as a line judge.


Becoming a line judge is a great way to become immersed in the world of competitive badminton. You can start as a local line judge, and work your way up to world level. Top level line judge are always in demand and many Australian line judges travel around the world each year to officiate at events such as World Championships, Olympic Games, and the Commonwealth Games.


Line Judges are part of a great badminton community, and becoming a Line Judge is open to anyone, regardless of age or ability. You don’t even need prior experience of playing badminton, just a good sense of judgement, a calm disposition and a willingness to get involved in a fun and rewarding career.


The next line judge opportunity will be for the Australian Para-Badminton National Championships which will be held at Altona Badminton Centre on Saturday 29th June 2019.
