Want to become a Badminton Provider in your area? Here are the steps you need to follow:
1. Safety assessment process
For any questions related to the Safety Assessment Process, please contact:

Phone: (03) 8319 5717
2. Endorsement Process
Complete Quality Checks with Badminton Victoria, which includes:
- Sign an MoU -- Which highlights the roles and responsibilities of the provider and BV towards each other and to the delivery of badminton
- Submit a list of Coaches to BV on an annual basis to keep the endorsement active – the renewal is free of cost. Every time you have a new coach who is delivering badminton, their coaching accreditations must be submitted
- Coaches must complete one or both of the following coaching qualifications - This will enable badminton to be played as a recognised provider.
- Shuttle Time Course – Designed for teachers and community members who want to introduce badminton to kids in schools. It includes lesson plans, training resources, and guidance for beginners. No prior experience is needed.
- Badminton Australia Foundation Level Coaching Course – Ideal for anyone interested in coaching at the club level. It covers the basics of coaching, skill development, and game tactics. No prior coaching experience is required, but participants must register as a coach with Badminton Australia.
Please note that while the Badminton Victoria endorsement process is not mandatory to deliver Sporting Schools sessions, providers who do not complete it will be listed as "Not Endorsed".
