Upskilling Initiatives Event
1. Badminton Umpiring Course
Badminton Victoria, in partnership with the Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association, is delivering this course as part of the Regional Badminton Revitalisation Program—an initiative aimed at assisting regional clubs to grow participation across all areas of the sport, including officiating.
The Badminton Umpiring Course will be delivered by the Badminton Victoria Technical Officials Committee (BVTOC).
This course consists of two components: theory and practicals.
- The face-to-face session will cover the theory component, including theory-based assessments.
- The practical component involves on-court assessments, which will be completed by attending designated tournaments as advised by BVTOC.
Details:
Upon successful completion of both components, participants will receive official accreditation. Badminton Victoria will cover the course fee.
