Badminton Victoria

Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association

Badminton is bouncing back stronger than ever — and Bendigo Eaglehawk is leading the charge

  • Youth Engagement:

    • Creating exciting pathways for young people to get into badminton — as players, leaders, and changemakers. We’re creating opportunities for young people to get active, try something new, and connect with others through sport.

  • Community Activation:

    • Hosting inclusive, vibrant events to bring the community together through sport. Our community activation events are designed to be fun, welcoming, and open to everyone—no experience needed!

  • Upskilling initiatives:

    • Providing training and support to empower local volunteers with the tools they need to lead and grow badminton in the region. Depending on the local needs, and demands and to ensure programs are relevant, inclusive, and accessible to all participants,

    • Badminton Victoria can bring the following upskilling offerings:

      1. Workshops & Coaching Clinics with state-level, accredited and experienced coaches, helping local coaches and volunteers build their skills and confidence in running youth-focused sessions.

      2. Coaching and Umpiring Courses such as:

        1. Badminton Australia Foundation Coaching Course – ideal for those new to coaching.

     2. BWF Shuttle Time Course – perfect for running sessions in schools.

     3. Badminton Victoria Umpiring Course.

For Bendigo Eaglehawk, this program is about more than just sport — it's about creating a sense of belonging, opportunity, and growth. Whether you're a beginner, a volunteer, or a local looking to get involved, you're welcome to join us in building an open, inclusive, and lasting badminton community.
