Victorian Dominance at the 2025 National Junior Badminton Championships

Badminton Victoria is proud to celebrate a remarkable double victory at the 2025 National Junior Championships held in Launceston, Tasmania. Both the U15 and U19 Victorian state teams claimed first place in their respective divisions, showcasing the depth of talent and dedication within the state's junior badminton program.

In the U15 national competition, the Victorian team emerged as champions, finishing ahead of Western Australia in second place and NSW Thunder in third. The team’s consistent performance and strong team spirit were evident throughout the tournament, reflecting months of preparation and commitment.

Meanwhile, in the U19 division, Victoria once again stood tall, taking the national title. NSW Thunder placed second, while Western Australia rounded out the top three in third place. The U19 squad impressed with their high-level play, strategic teamwork, and relentless energy on court.

These outstanding results are a testament to the strength of junior development pathways in Victoria and the efforts of coaches, athletes, and support staff.
