It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Yvette Bentley, a cherished member of our badminton community and the former Vice President of VBVA.

Yvette Bentley has dedicated countless hours to supporting badminton development.  

Her tireless involvement, especially in the development of junior players, reflected her unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of athletes. 

On behalf of the Board and Management of Badminton Victoria, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Yvette’s family and friends during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the legacy she leaves behind and her contributions to badminton will always be remembered and appreciated.

For those wishing to attend, funeral details are as follows: 

A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Yvette Lorraine Bentley will take place at St Michael’s Catholic Church, Church St, Traralgon on Wednesday 7th May 2025 commencing at 1.30pm. At the conclusion of Mass, Yvette will be laid to rest at the Rosedale Cemetery.r
