Badminton Victoria has launched its Strategic Plan 2026–2028, setting a clear direction for the continued growth and sustainability of badminton across Victoria.
The plan has been developed through consultation with the Board and the wider badminton community, including clubs, associations, coaches, athletes, officials, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders. This collaborative approach hasensured thatthe Strategic Plan reflects the needs, priorities, and aspirations of the sport across the state.
At the core of the Strategic Plan are four key pillars — Play, Pathways, Partner, and Promote — which guide how Badminton Victoria will support participation, strengthen development pathways, work collaboratively with its community, and raise the profile of badminton in Victoria. These pillars are supported byorganisationalenablers including People, Culture, Governance,Financial Sustainability, andTechnology, providinga strong foundationfor delivery. All initiatives and priorities outlined in the plan are grounded inBadmintonVictoria’s Purpose, Vision, and Values.
Together, the Strategic Plan provides a practical framework to guide Badminton Victoria’s work over the next three years, ensuring the needs and interests of members and participantsremaincentral, while supporting the long-term sustainability of the sport.
