In the individual events of the Under 17 Australasian Championships, Victorian Otto Zhao was the sole member of the team to secure a championship title - winning the Boy's Doubles with Ricky Tang (NSW). Victoria Rebels' Kaitlyn Ea also made honourable appearances in the finals of the Girls Singles and Mixed Doubles against Queensland's Angela Yu in both matches. However, Angela had the better day and came out a triple crown title holder of the Australasian Under 17 Championships.
Additional special mentions go to Semi-Finalist appearances by, Kaitlyn Ea (Girl's Doubles), Sydney Go (Girl's Singles, Girl's Doubles), Kayson Goh (Boy's Singles, Mixed Doubles) and Thomas Ng (Boy's Doubles).
