More Silverware for State Players at Australasian Under 17 Championships 2018

WOW! It’s hard to believe that another Carnival has been completed - played in Invercargill, New Zealand. But It’s not hard to believe that our Victorian Team has done us proud.

Apart from the great effort in coming second in the June Bevan Trophy team event, our players have brought home some silverware in the individual events, the Australasian Under 17 Championships. Kaitlyn Ea and Ryan Venpin have won the Mixed Doubles, Otto Zhao with partner Ricky Tang (NSW) took out the Boy's Doubles, Starcia Han and Latisha Gay put on a great performance and won the Plate Girl's Doubles and Ryan Venpin was Runner-Up in the Boy's Singles.

This amazing Victorian team have enjoyed their time in New Zealand, made new friends, been reunited with old ones and made Victoria proud.

Thanks again to the Victorian Officials, Julie McDonald, Eden and Kath Turner and Kay Coady. The other members of the team, parents, have also been awesome in their support over the trip! Victoria is so lucky to have such passionate people involved in our sport.

Thanks TEAM!
