In two weeks, the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Australian Badminton Team will be on court at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre in Queensland!
The Australian Badminton Team will feature Victorian players Matthew Chau (Men's Doubles), Sawan Serasinghe (Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles), Robin Middleton (Men's Doubles), Ross Smith (Men's Doubles), Gronya Somerville (Women's Doubles) and Renuga Veeran (Women's Doubles), competing on 5-9 April 2018. They will start in Group C of the Badminton Team Competition Preliminary Round Robin and fight for a chance to compete in the Quarter-Finals on 7 April, Semi-Finals on 8 April and Medal Finals on 9 April. After the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Badminton Team Competition, our Victorian players will compete in the Individuals Competition during 10-15 April 2018. (View the full Badminton Individuals Competition Draws here.)
